British Airways introduce Holiday Finder Tool on British Airways homepage. British Airways has made it even easier to find the perfect holiday with the launch of a new 'Holiday Finder' tool on ba.com. Andrew Crawley, director, British Airways said: 'We have been developing ways to make choosing the right holiday even easier, so we are excited to launch the new Holiday Finder on ba.com. Now customers can be inspired and find a bargain that's just right for them at the same time.'

A new section called 'Not sure where and when' has been added to ba.com homepage and this is where customers will find a link to the 'Holiday Finder'. The tool can also be accessed directly at ba.com/holidayfinder.

The new ba.com feature allows customers to find the best online offer on their flight+hotel package to a range of British Airways' most popular holiday destinations. Customers can personalise their specific requests by adding in budget, departure date, destination or group of destinations, type of holiday and temperature.

This will not only benefit anyone not sure where or when they want to go on holiday but also those looking for a good deal, anyone on a budget, holiday-makers with flexible dates and those who do not have the time to shop around.

The 'Holiday Finder' tool offers a more personalised experience for customers, enabling them to search for specific options including budget, departure date, number of nights, type of holiday i.e. city break or beach, and temperature.

Great Britain airports sites

Great Britain airports sites - Great Britain airports sites, telephones, on-line Schedule. Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton, Belfast International, Glasgow, Manchester International, Isle of Man airports.
BAA’s UK airports handled a total of 11.5 million passengers in the last month, a decrease of 2.3% on April 2008. This improvement on the reverse seen in March (-11.3%) was largely due to the change in the timing of Easter, which this year fell in April but last year in March. Taking the two months together (to eliminate the Easter timing distortion) reveals a decline of 6.8% which is in line with the underlying monthly trend recorded since December 2008, which has been consistently between -6% and -7%.

The results for the major markets in April showed an increase of 0.7% in European scheduled traffic but a drop of 9.9% in European charters. North Atlantic and UK domestic markets both dipped by 7.6% but other long-haul routes recorded a collective increase in passengers of 1.4%.

Edinburgh’s traffic was up 3.9% in April, again due to a strong Easter. Gatwick recorded a drop of 3.0% and Stansted a decrease of 12.6%. Elsewhere, Glasgow was down by 11.6% and Aberdeen (which is negatively affected by the Easter period due to reduced oil-related activity) saw a 10.7% drop.
